Google I/O22 was really rich in hardware news. The company also presented its tablet running on Androidu, although it will not bring it to the market until 2023. In 2015, it tried it with the Pixel C tablet, in 2018 with the Pixel Slate model, which, however, ran on Chrome OS. However, it is not for nothing that it is called the third of all good things.

Google characterizes its tablet as "the perfect companion for your Pixel phone to bridge the gap between your home life and activities on the go." The tablet will run on a Google Tensor chip, just as it is already the case with the Pixel 6. There was no mention of the price, which is not at all surprising when we have to wait until the final product in a year.

Taking a closer look at the device, as seen in its short trailer, the back of the device is shown at one point. Here you can see what looks like four pins. These hint at earlier reports of a Nest tablet, where the next product would be a "Nest Hub" tablet that could be attached to the base of the smart speaker. So these pins could potentially serve as the tablet's charging mechanism in such a dock, although a side USB-C port is also visible.

On a somewhat funny note, the rendered rendering of the Pixel tablet looks like the Nest Hub smart display, thanks to its thick white bezels. In the official renders we also see two possible color variants and at the same time only one camera. The equipment will probably be a mid-range tablet, on which Google will mainly want to show its debugging Androidu for big screens. So far, it seems that for the series Galaxy It won't be a serious competition.
