Now a respected leaker has also commented on this topic, according to which the phone will have a "stronger" telephoto lens than it has Galaxy S22Ultra.
According to the well-respected and usually very well-informed leaker Ice universe, the rear photo setup of the fourth Fold will consist of a 50MPx main camera, a 12MPx "wide" and a 12MPx telephoto lens. Apparently, the phone will not have the 108MPx main camera from the S22 Ultra, as some other leaks previously suggested.

Ice universe added that the Fold4's telephoto lens will be "stronger" than the one used by the S22 Ultra. However, he specifically means a 10MP telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom, not a periscopic telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. He did not reveal in what sense the telephoto lens of the fourth Fold will be "stronger", so we can only speculate whether he meant better software processing, better optics or something else entirely. Either way, the telephoto lens of the next Fold should be better than the telephoto lens used in the "three", because it only supports XNUMXx optical zoom.
