When Ben Brode parted ways with Blizzard and the Hearthstone card development lead in 2018, there was immediate speculation about what the passionate developer would be working on next. Together with other colleagues, for whom Canadian society no longer represented an ideal environment for further development, they founded the Second Dinner studio. It started working on a mysterious project almost immediately. Now, the mysterious game is being revealed, and it's nothing less than a new card game from the Marvel universe.

Marvel Snap presents itself in a nicely animated action scene that suggests that during gameplay we will also meet versions of popular heroes and villains from alternate realities. In addition, however, you can also clearly see how the novelty will be played. Marvel Snap is primarily developed for mobile platforms. This is reflected in its core gameplay. Unlike other competitors in the genre, each match in Marvel Snap only takes you about three minutes.

The agility also results from the unconventional fact that you will play with your opponent simultaneously. So don't expect any change of moves. In Marvel Snap, it will be all about knowing the cards well and making the right decision in the time pressure. However, we still don't know when the game will be released. The developers of Second Dinner have already announced the possibility to sign up to play the open beta. However, it is not available in the Czech Republic or Slovakia.
