Nothing, a company founded last year, headed by one of the founders of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus Carl Pei, has been working on his first phone for some time now. Now Pei revealed some interesting details about him in an interview with the Wallpaper website. The first is that the smartphone called Nothing Phone 1 will have a transparent back. This element seems to be crucial for the company, as even its Nothing ear 1 headphones had a transparent design.

The phone will also have wireless charging, but Pei kept its performance to himself. The question is also whether reverse wireless charging will be supported. Pei also hinted that the frame of the smartphone will be made of recycled aluminum, but the back will probably be plastic rather than glass, and he also revealed when it will be introduced. They say it will be already in the summer. According to the website Allround PC, it will be exactly July 21.

The company previously revealed that the Nothing Phone 1 will be powered by a Snapdragon chip, but did not elaborate on what exactly. However, it can be assumed that it will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or its predecessor introduced a few days ago "plush" version. The phone will also be available in Europe and its price will reportedly be around 500 euros (roughly CZK 12). However, the creators say about the phone that it should be the biggest evolution in the smartphone market since the launch of the first iPhone. So the goals are not small, just so they don't burn out.
