First we learn that Samsung should be working on an exclusive Exynos chipset for its flagship series Galaxy With which it will be tailored. Then we learn that for the next two generations, the S series will not have their own Exynos, as the whole team is dedicated to the first mentioned project. But now everything is different again and it seems like Samsung is playing some strange game with us.

As reported by the website GalaxyClub, Samsung is reportedly working on two new Exynos, one intended for flagship devices and one for the mid-range. Ok, the middle class is ok, because Samsung can always focus on it, but only in the case of the Exynos pro Galaxy S22 here we have a kind of contradiction with the first mentioned informacemy.

More specifically, the new high-end chip is codenamed S5E9935, while the Exynos 2200 is codenamed S5E9925, so it looks like the Exynos 2300 and series will be released next year Galaxy S23 is a likely candidate to replace it. Of course there are no more available informace, so it's unclear what changes or improvements this new chip will bring and whether it will have a newer and improved version of the AMD Xclipse GPU.

The second chip that Samsung is developing has the model number S5E8535. Here it is harder to speculate about what it might actually be. Exynos 1280 which powers the device as Galaxy A33 a Galaxy A53, has the model number S5E8825, so the S5E8535 could be a lower-end chip intended for the manufacturer's budget smartphones. However, since only the code names are known at this time, nothing can be said with certainty.
