Galaxy S22, S22 + a S22Ultra became the first smartphones in the world to offer Vo5G (voice over 5G) service. The Kuwaiti mobile operator was the first to launch it and so far it is exclusively available for the series Galaxy S22. Vo5G offers improved voice capabilities and support for voice communication in ultra HD quality.

Although 5G is expanding quite quickly, the technology is mainly used for data transmission rather than voice calls. However, many mobile operators are considering switching to Vo5G, and Zain Kuwait is the first to do so. At the moment, the operator only offers Vo5G support for the range Galaxy S22, but should gradually expand to other 5G phones.
