Samsung's display division Samsung Display, which is the largest manufacturer of OLED displays for small and medium panels, has introduced the world's first 240Hz OLED display for notebooks. However, it is not the Korean giant's laptop that is the first to be proud of it, but the one from the MSI workshop.

Samsung's first 240Hz OLED display for laptops measures 15,6 inches and has a QHD resolution. It offers a contrast ratio of 1000000:1, a response time of 0,2 ms, VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, a wide color palette, true blacks and low blue light emissions.

The first laptop to use the new display is the MSI Raider GE67 HX. This high-end portable gaming machine boasts 9th Gen Intel Core i12 processors, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics, plenty of ports, and better cooling than last year's model.

“Our new 240Hz OLED display meets and exceeds the demand of customers who have long been waiting for a notebook with a high refresh rate OLED panel. The clear advantages that high refresh rate OLED panels offer compared to LCD will transform the gaming industry.” Samsung Display Executive Vice President Jeeho Baek is sure.
