One UI 5.0 is the next major version of Samsung's user and graphics superstructure for devices with Androidem. The Korean smartphone giant will release it later this year after Google does so with Androidem 13. It should launch its beta program in the coming months. At the moment, quite understandably, no details are known about One UI 5.0, according to the website SamMobile however, the new superstructure should bring a major improvement in animation speed.

With One UI 5.0 development in full swing, one of Samsung's top priorities is speeding up the user interface. It is also going to optimize the animations to be smoother and faster. This change, which may seem like an insignificant detail to some, will actually have a big impact on the user experience. It will complement well with the higher refresh rate displays on the Korean giant's premium devices and provide a great user experience.

Samsung should reveal all the improvements that One UI 5.0 will bring at the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) event later this year. Its last year was held in October, and not long after Samsung released the beta of the One UI 4.1 superstructure.

The company could thus choose a similar time frame for One UI 5.0 this year. Once the new version is announced at SDC 2022, we can expect its beta to launch in the coming weeks. A sharp version should then be released for supported devices before the end of the year.
