Flexible phones Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 have started receiving a new update that brings some photography features from the lineup Galaxy S22. These are the same features that the series has received before Galaxy S21.

Probably the most useful feature that owners of current Samsung "puzzles" can look forward to is the ability to use the telephoto lens in Pro mode and the Nightography function in portrait mode. Also, video calling effects that can be used in third-party video calling applications have been improved. Specifically, WhatsApp, Google Meets and Duo, Microsoft Teams, Messenger, Zoom and BlueJeans are supported. In addition, some applications for video calls (and also video mode) now support the function of automatic image adjustment. In addition, the quality of pictures taken using social applications or photo "apps" from the application store has been improved, and last but not least, the stability and security of both devices have been improved and unspecified bugs have been fixed.

For the Fold3, the new update carries the firmware version F926BXXU1CVEB, for the third Flip version F711BXXU2CVEB. It was the first to arrive in Germany and Italy, from which it should spread to other countries in the following days. Its availability can be checked manually by opening it Settings→Software Update.
