Samsung quite surprisingly he announced, that the functionality of the Samsung Pass app will be integrated into the Samsung Pay service. The integration will start first in South Korea and will expand to other markets in the coming months. The new application covers all credit and debit cards, membership cards, passwords, digital keys, coupons, tickets, airline tickets, as well as digital assets.

The new update for Samsung Pay will be available on all smartphones compatible with the service that run on Androidfor 9 and above. Although the service previously stored users' payment cards and membership cards, the new update will allow them to store digital keys for their cars and smart locks, which can be shared with family, friends or anyone else.

In addition, it will be possible to add digital assets to the service, such as Bitcoin, airline tickets (specifically those from Jeju Air, Jin Air and Korean Air) and movie tickets (specifically those from the Lotte Cinema and Megabox cinema chains and from of Ticket Link). Users will be able to monitor the security of all their digital items through the Samsung Knox platform.
