Meddi award

The award was given as one of the main awards at the Science in Healthcare conference organized by the International Scompanies for research, health, business development and technology (SIISDET). "We are very happy that MEDDI Diabetes is part of Dr. Peréz's award-winning long-term efforts to connect healthcare and technology. We believe that telemedicine can help make healthcare more efficient anywhere in the world and enable access to healthcare for everyone. In addition, with chronic diseases such as diabetes, continuous care and monitoring of patients is absolutely necessary for the success of treatment." says Jiří Pecina, founder and owner of the MEDDI hub company.

"I am very pleased that I could accept the award. I have been involved in research and its application for more than 20 years. The MEDDI platform offers a great solution for communication between doctors and patients who are being treated for a chronic disease such as diabetes. Telemedicine can replace part of face-to-face meetings, which is extremely important in areas such as Latin America, where people have to travel very far to see a doctor. In addition, there is a general shortage of specialized doctors in the area, and telemedicine will give them the opportunity to attend to more patients". says Omidres Perez.. "MEDDI helps make communication more efficient overall, but it can also support patients in regular disease monitoring and a greater willingness to undergo treatment," supplies.

In Latin America, the MEDDI hub also has other activities. It supplies its solutions to several hospitals in Peru, Ecuador and Colombia, cooperates with leading local universities and launches a health care project with the Peruvian army.

MEDDI hub as is a Czech company that develops telemedicine solutions, the goal of which is to enable communication between patients and doctors at any time and anywhere and to make it more efficient overall. It is also an active promoter of telemedicine and digitization of healthcare and one of the founding companies of the Alliance for Telemedicine and Digitization of Healthcare and Social Services.
