He filmed a unique short horror-themed night parody on a Samsung phone Galaxy S22 Ultra director Matyáš Fára. For this, he used the nightography function, which is equipped with all smartphones of the series Galaxy S22, which allows you to create professional videos and photos even in low light conditions, will fully replace professional cameras. The main roles in the clip were played by non-actor Jan Svoboda and Bára Cielecká alias Duhovka, a well-known Czech tater tot.

"Matyáš Fára is a young promising director of advertising spots who combines contemporary visual storytelling techniques in his work. He has done commercials for brands such as Škoda, Pilsner Urquell, Puma, Vodafone, Jägermeister, etc. In addition, he also made it to the finals of the ADC Young directors. We chose it for the spot because of the way it combines visual details with cinematic storytelling and new technologies," says Martin Marek, director of corporate marketing at Samsung Electronics Czech and Slovak.

The spot is aimed primarily at young smartphone users from Generation Z (born from the mid-90s to 2012), who truly understand the concept of authentic self-expression and proudly celebrate it. Thanks to the Samsung Nightography function, they can express their true selves at any time of day or night - so that absolutely everyone, even the misunderstood vampire as the central character of the clip, can show the world how dynamic and truly unique they really are. "Filming on a mobile phone was a completely new experience for me. I didn't know what to expect from him, but in the end it was practically no different from a classic camera shoot," says Jan Svoboda, the chief promoter of the spot.

Filming was more variable and there was no need for a large crew

"We approached the technological limitation during filming as an interesting experience. We tested the phone, chose the most effective procedure (manual shooting with a stabilizer) and planned all the shots in such a way as to use all the advantages of the phone," explains director Matyáš Fára. Filming on a mobile phone allowed for faster variability, and there was no need for such a large camera crew. "In the final, however, the procedures were the same as when filming on a professional camera," notes Matyáš Fára.

"During the filming, we used a combination of the native Samsung application for photography and filming, with the fact that we shot in the H.264 codec," describes the director. The crew consisted of 35 people. The result is very comparable to clips that are filmed with expensive professional technical equipment.

Samsung Galaxy The S22 Ultra represents the highest model of this year's range of premium smartphones Galaxy S22 and is among the best in the world of smartphones. The Nightography professional camera represents a mobile photography revolution. You can take sharp and clear pictures even in low light conditions. Thanks to giant sensors and shape-changing pixels, even night shots will always be bright and sharp. The Expert RAW application allows you to take pictures in RAW format and work with them immediately. They are edited directly in the Gallery, the user sends them to a larger screen for additional editing or conveniently shares them with other users.
