Samsung is number one in the flexible phone market for good reason. Its smartphones range Galaxy Z are very reliable, and its current models are also the only "puzzles" in the world to be waterproof (specifically according to the IPX8 standard). Galaxy According to Samsung, the Flip3 can handle up to 200 bends, but it seems that this is only half of what the device is really capable of.
Polish YouTuber Mrkeybrd decided to test what the hinged mechanism of the third Flip could really withstand, and the end result amazed him. The Test, which was broadcast live, began on 8 June and ended five days later. The phone was bent a total of 418 times during that time.
The result is truly stunning and shows that Samsung attaches the utmost importance to the durability of the joint mechanism in its "benders". Its guarantee of 200 bends thus seems too modest. However, it should be noted here that after about 350 bends, the joint started to loosen a bit and sometimes did not fold quite right. So it is possible that Samsung guarantees "only" 200 thousand bends seamless opening/closing the phone.
I would rather be interested in the display, it didn't even last 4 months and a crack appeared in the housing
Replaced under warranty
After 6 months of use, I got a black line at the bend and it was over. They didn't accept the warranty repair because I had a 3 month old scratch on the other side of the phone. I paid 10300Kc for the repair. I only repaired it because it was a gift and I didn't want the gift giver to know about the problems. Otherwise, they probably won't even be able to repair it, because they brought me a brand new one instead of the repaired one... I'm expecting the same problems again in 6 months. If you google "z flip 3 problems" you will see many photos of this problem all over the world…
