Another reason for my resistance to wearing anything smart on my wrist was that the times are so steeped in technology that I just didn't want to have another piece of electronics I was carrying around all the time. But once you try a similar device, you will find that you are defending yourself completely unnecessarily. Such a device does not limit you, but actually moves you further. Yes, the entire watch collection is lying idle now, but it will rather benefit her.

Unfortunately, it eats a lot. Samsung claims up to 40 hours of battery life. Forget it. With Always On turned off, which I didn't like, and completely normal use, i.e. some activity, some measurement, constant monitoring of heart rate, receiving X notifications, you can last a classic day (not to be confused with 24 hours), and you will have a little left over. You don't have to worry about your watch running out of power before going to bed, it's definitely not.

I had many watches. Winding with batteries. Some I liked, some I loved. For the latter, repairing the case would cost more than buying a more luxurious version. And the era of mobile phones came. But you have to live with progress, so I bought a Czech Aligator watch for testing Watch For. Great. For less than 2000 crowns, with three tapes... three weeks of endurance... great. For many people..for life.
But...suddenly after a few decades I got used to watches and I'm a bit of a technologist. But few. So that's enough for me Galaxy Note 10+ with half a terabyte of memory and 12 gigabytes on the frame. And I was looking for a Samsung watch. Sure..which other you charge from the back of the phone.

I had Galaxy S3 Frontier. I really liked them and Tizen 4 was an absolutely great OS. Had some fce and ext. applications that are important to me (e.g. Camera Remote for controlling the camera in a mobile phone, including a real image, etc.), which I don't even have in today's Garmin Epix 2, which is 2,5 times more expensive than the Samsungs.
But that battery got me in trouble many times. She just couldn't stand watching all-day outdoor activity. I often had a problem even on multi-day business trips. I tried to forget the special Samsung cradle, the watch was often dead on the 3rd or even the 2nd day. I also experienced an "embarrassment" at a meeting when a colleague asked me the time and I had to admit that my "great" watch was dead.
And I had 2 cradles. One at home and the other at a friend's. I considered another one for the car, but then I preferred to switch to Garmins (amoled version). And I'm done with problems and I don't regret the investment. If I don't have many activities, the watch will last more than 14 days.
The comparison with the daily winding of a classic watch is a bit lame - we usually carry the fingers capable of winding the watch with us. Special cradle, event. no more power bank or charger.
But that's my experience and preference. Everyone has them differently.
Tragic battery life... just like Apple watch 7,, Samsung Galaxy 4… one day in activity tracking is not enough… I sold both and bought the last Garmin venu 2 plus, finally satisfied
