A few months ago, unofficial ones made their way into the airwaves rendery Samsung's next rugged smartphone Galaxy XCover Pro 2 (according to some recent leaks it could be called Galaxy XCover 6 Pro). Now, its press renders have been leaked, showing it in all its glory.

Official renders released by the website WinFuture, show a flat display with a teardrop notch and relatively thick bezels. On the back is a duo of cameras surrounded by a red ring. The back has a vertical striped pattern and the back panel appears to be removable, meaning it should be possible to replace the battery. The images also show that the phone will have two configurable buttons, a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a 3,5mm jack.

Galaxy XCover Pro 2 (Galaxy XCover 6 Pro) is otherwise expected to receive a powerful mid-range Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset, a display with a size of around 6,5 inches and a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels, 6 GB of operating memory, and in terms of software it will apparently run on Androidu 12. It is said to measure 169,5 x 81,1 x 10,1 mm. In addition, it can be expected to have an IP68 degree of protection and meet the US military's MIL-STD-810G durability standard. It will probably be presented sometime in the summer.
