Already this Thursday, a unique event called Future City Tech 2022 is starting in Říčany, which will present a variety of sustainable solutions for urban transport. Come and see the innovative solution and try driving an autonomous minibus or a hydrogen-powered vehicle.
Will the car run on electricity, hydrogen or methanol?
Each of these solutions has its advantages and disadvantages, and it is quite likely that technologies will work side by side. Currently, the entire automotive industry is donating huge sums of money to support research and development in both areas, and in Říčany you will be able to try out vehicles powered by both electricity and hydrogen. Hyundai Motor Czech has prepared test drives of an electric car for you IONQ 5 and a hydrogen car NEXO.
Autonomous vehicles and robots are the trend of the future
The company's autonomous minibuses will also be presented during the event AuveTech, which will also be able to be tested or the BringAuto delivery robots. BringAuto is a Brno technology start-up founded in 2019. Its goal is robotization last mile delivery, when it is possible to replace humans with robots running on electricity. At Future City Tech, BringAuto presents an autonomous beverage vending robot. Company City will also introduce and simultaneously launch its on-demand transport service provided by shared low-emission minivans.

Conference for the professional public
A conference and workshops related to the introduction of autonomous transport to cities will be prepared for the professional public. Experts will present options for solving parking problems, using shared services and multimodal transport, improving urban logistics and last mile transport. Czech experts will speak at the conference, for example, Ondřej Mátl, councilor for transport for the Prague 7 district, or Jan Bizík, Mobility Innovation Hub Manager of CzechInvest. Among the foreign speakers, it will be the Estonian company AuveTec, which deals with autonomous transport, or the Israeli companies RoadHub, which plans smart city infrastructure.

Future City Tech 2022 takes place this Thursday and Friday in Říčany. The organizer is the company PowerHub in cooperation with the town of Říčany and with support CzechInvest. The main partners are the companies CITYA, Hyundai and the foundation fund The Umbrella Center. The event takes place under the auspices of Minister of Transport Martin Kupka.
The event is intended for experts and the general public, as well as city representatives or heads of transport departments and innovation purchasing departments.
