One of the most hyped phones of recent times, the Nothing Phone(1), which showed us its back in all its glory a few days ago, has now appeared in the Geekbench benchmark. Among other things, he revealed what chip will power it. And it won't Snapdragon 7 Gen1, as some have speculated for some time.

 

According to the Geekbench 5 benchmark database, the Nothing Phone 1 will use an upper mid-range Snapdragon 778G+ chipset, which will be paired with 8GB of RAM. He will take care of the software operation Android 12 (with Nothing OS extension). The phone scored 797 points in the single-core test and 2803 points in the multi-core test, which is a very decent result.

According to available leaks, the Nothing Phone 1 will have a 6,5-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a dual camera with a 50MPx main sensor, a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh and support for 45W wired charging and wireless charging with currently unknown performance and increased durability. It will be presented on July 12 and will reportedly be sold in Europe at a price of around 500 euros (about 12 CZK). It will also stand out with its light effects on the back, which will draw attention to notifications as well as ongoing charging.
