The purpose of the Patron GO platform is not complicated. Its task is simply to help you make regular payments cheaper even at a time when everything is becoming more expensive. You certainly regularly pay for insurance, utilities, calls, housing, etc., where it is quite possible that you are overpaying unnecessarily. But the application will allow you to save up to CZK 30 per year.
First of all, it should be said that the application does not force you to do anything if you do not want to. You can take the presented results only as a recommendation and arrange according to them yourself, but you can also use the services of the application and thus save not only money, but also time. Patron GO namely, it compares millions of bank data every minute and comes up with options for how and for what to pay less. The creators of the platform say that on average they find more than 5 things on each account that can be discounted. So I am frame that in my case it was only four.
Just a passive approach
Of course, in order for the app to find out where it can help you save, you need to give it access to your account. After starting the title, after choosing the country (Czech Republic, Slovakia) and the quick guide, you must log in not only to the application (also via Facebook or Google), but also to your account. So you select the bank where you have it and log in. However, you only grant passive access to the third party, the Patron GO app - so it can only display data such as account balances and movements, planned salaries and other reports, nothing more.
So after logging in, you select the account to be checked, and to make the recommendation result as accurate as possible, you tell the application your age, gender and zip code of your residence. After verifying the phone number, you can start the scan. Once it runs, you are presented with the result. You will see detected financial viruses, questions and an "OK" section. Not everything has to be wrong.

If you redirect to the overview, you will see the essentials under the triangle symbol, the circle indicates more recommendations. Then you decide what and how you want to solve it. There are of course chatbots ready to help with basic things. With the more complex ones, you are redirected to Patron specialists who will arrange everything for you. Rewards in the form of discount cards and various products await you for completing things here.

The application is otherwise divided into five tabs. The first is the home screen, which informs you about viruses, unanswered questions, and you can see here as well informace from your account. The other with the gift icon clearly refers to the rewards you can choose with your points. The application symbol icon will then perform a new account scan. The chat tab shows your communications in the app, and in the Virus Vault you'll see known viruses and those you've already cured.

There's nothing to lose
When you start treating a virus, you are first presented here with what it represents. It can be a check on life insurance, overpriced liability insurance, an unnecessarily large amount of funds on a current account, etc. The robot here will therefore conduct a conversation with you with regard to how you could remedy the situation. You answer him in the form of pre-defined answers, typically yes or no, meaning that you are or are not interested in solving the situation. In the case of positive answers, and in the event that you really want to make the given contract cheaper, you will of course contact an expert, because the robot will not handle anything for you.

The application is very simple, because it is clear and without unnecessary frills. Thanks to the definition of viruses, it is also funny, and their solution is surprisingly simple. There are even daily challenges for rewards and you can get a cash bonus for inviting friends. The important thing is that you have nothing to lose by using it, because you can only gain, and above all your own money, which you will not have to spend unnecessarily.
You have to let yourself know that they can really advise you on where and on what to save, mainly only smaller amounts and member benefits, but you will also find tips on how to save, for example, 500 more. According to what we found, they are governed by the approved law of the Čnb, which supervises them.
