Summer is in full swing and with it so are water activities. Whether it's swimming, visiting a water park or going down a river, no matter how wild, it's a good idea to lock your watch against accidental touches and at the same time to expel water from it after the water fun. That's why it's important to know how to water lock a watch Galaxy Watch4. 

Just before swimming or exercising in water, it is advisable to activate on the watch Galaxy Watch4 to Watch4 Classic Water Castle mode. Water drops on the display inform you that it is activated. There are two ways to do this.

Water lock in quick settings panel 

  • Swipe the screen from top to bottom. 
  • In the standard layout, the function is located on the second screen. 
  • Tap the two water drops icon next to each other.

Water lock in settings 

  • Swipe your finger across the screen from bottom to top. 
  • Select Settings. 
  • Select Advanced Features. 
  • Tap Water lock. 
  • Toggle the switch to On. 

Deactivating the water lock on Galaxy Watch4 

Because the water lock locks the touchscreen's response, if you want to deactivate it, you have to do so through the Home button. It is enough to hold it for two seconds, when you can also see the time progress on the display.

After unlocking the watch, it will start making a sound to remove the water from the speaker. It's also a good idea to shake the watch to remove any water from the pressure sensor.
