As you may recall, Samsung introduced a new (lower) mid-range 4G phone with the label in March Galaxy A23. Last month, news hit the airwaves that the Korean giant was preparing a 5G version of it. It has now "emerged" in the popular Geekbench benchmark, which revealed what chipset will power it.

Galaxy The A23 5G is listed on the Geekbench 5 benchmark database under the model number SM-A236U, which indicates that it is a version intended for the US market. It will use last year's Snapdragon 695 mid-range chip. The benchmark database also revealed that the phone will have 4 GB of RAM (with regard to the 4G version, it should be available in multiple memory variants) and that the software will run on Androidu 12. It scored 674 points in the single-core test and 2019 points in the multi-core test.

Galaxy In addition, the A23 5G should get a 6,55-inch display, a quad rear camera, a fingerprint reader built into the power button, a 3,5 mm jack and dimensions of 165,4 x 77 x 8,5 mm. Apart from the chipset, it could also differ from the 4G version in terms of the camera, according to some leaks, it will have a better ultra-wide-angle lens (specifically with a resolution of 8 MPx; the 4G version has a 5-megapixel one). He could be introduced to the scene before long.
