Samsung continues to improve its photo application RAW Expert. The new update brings several new features that make the app even more useful. Additionally, it has been confirmed that its release on older devices will unfortunately be delayed.

Some time ago, Samsung confirmed that it will make Expert RAW available on some older flagship devices, specifically on Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy Note20 Ultra and Galaxy From Fold2. Now it has been revealed that the release of the app on these devices will be delayed. It was originally supposed to arrive in the first half of the year.

However, the new update allows existing users to save their own presets. This is a very useful feature as the app's philosophy is to allow users to precisely control various settings. They can now create presets with their own settings, so they can easily be used for subsequent shots. The application can save photos in both RAW and JPEG formats simultaneously. However, this may not always be convenient. The update allows users to choose whether they only want images to be saved in one format or another. If they want, they can continue to save photos in both formats as before.

The reason why Expert RAW is coming to the mentioned devices later is that they need to be updated to their photography system and some other adjustments have to be made before that. If all goes according to plan, the owners Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy Note20 Ultra and Galaxy The "apps" from Fold2 will finally arrive, perhaps in September.
