Just over a year after YouTube made videos replayable so you could watch the same content over and over again without moving a muscle, there's another similar innovation targeting repeat content. But now it's about being able to loop individual chapters of each video. So if you want to watch the same part of the video over and over and over again, you can do so by pressing the Loop button in the Chapters menu.

Previously, the only option in the Chapters section was to share each of them with other people. This chapter loop feature is so new. However, there were earlier reports that YouTube was testing this feature. It was at the beginning of this year. The feature appears on both mobile platforms and desktops. So it seems like it's a server-side update, so it'll be available pretty much as soon as Google releases it globally.

To activate the feature, you need to find the relevant video, go to the menu where you can browse the chapters, and there should appear a repeat logo with two arrows. If you press this button while watching a chapter, when the chapter ends, the video will immediately return to the beginning of the chapter. If you are in another chapter of the video, you can press this button in another chapter to immediately loop the previous chapter. Then this chapter will repeat individually until you press the button again.
