The Disney+ streaming service has quickly established itself in many households, thanks in large part to its attractive content including brands such as Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and, of course, Disney. iu was recently launched us. However, as it seems now, its latest update for devices with Android TV and Google TV "broke" Dolby Atmos support.

Disney+ users these days on Reddit complain that the latest service update for devices with Android TV and Google TV disabled Dolby Atmos surround sound. At the moment, it appears that Dolby Atmos does not work on some Sony Bravia or Hisense TVs and Nvidia Shield TV devices as part of the service.

It's currently unclear when a fix will be available, but at least one user is reporting that they resolved the issue by going back to a previous version of the Disney+ app. The culprit seems to be version 2.9.1, with the previous version 2.8.0 nobody complained about problems with Dolby Atmos. This version can sideload, although the process is not exactly the easiest for a TV. You are using on your device s Android TV and Google TV Disney+? Have you experienced the problem mentioned above?
