It was already in February last year when Zynga revealed to us that it was working on a new Star Wars title. Then in September 2021, news came that its release was being pushed back to 2022. Despite entering soft launch, it seems that Zynga still feels that the game still doesn't meet the studio's high expectations, so the arena shooter has been pushed back yet again.

Unfortunately for all those who were impatiently waiting for the title, the time horizon is quite long. So we won't see it before 2023, so if it's good, at least in half a year. This is the game's second delay, which is rarely a good sign. However, players who had access to the game praised its graphics and gameplay, but at the same time stated that it was just like any other, just from the Star Wars universe.

Zynga however confirmed, that it will continue to roll out new content to those already participating in the current soft launch until the game's global launch to the general public. The new update should even land on their devices within the next few weeks. It's clear that development, despite the latest delay, is still ongoing. So let's hope that we will see one day when there is still such hype around the brand (even if the Obi-Wan Kenobi series may not have satisfied every die-hard fan).
