Last week, we informed you that Samsung, contrary to expectations, seems to increase the price of its next flexible clamshell Galaxy From Flip4. Now the prices of his siblings have penetrated the airwaves Galaxy From Fold4, from which it follows that he too will cost more than his predecessor.

Galaxy The Fold4 will be according to the European standard trade on the old continent, in the variant with 256 GB of internal memory, sell for 1 euros (about 863 CZK) and in the 45 GB variant for 800 euros (roughly 512 CZK). It is possible that the prices will be adjusted cosmetically, to 1, or 981 euros. For comparison: the 48GB and 700GB variants of the third Fold cost 1, respectively 849 euros (here, Samsung sells it for 1 or 999 CZK). The Fold256 is to be offered in a variant with 512 TB, which could cost over 1 euros, considering the above prices.

It is quite possible that this price increase will not only concern Europe, Samsung might want to charge more for its new "benders" in other world markets as well. Perhaps he feels that a modest price increase this year will not have a major impact on sales. This, on the other hand, would go against his efforts to make foldable smartphones mainstream devices. The price increase may not be such a problem with the Fold, it is worse with the Flip, which is the best-selling flexible device in the world, and the higher price tag could kill the new generation.
