Google's latest phone launched a few days ago – Pixel 6a – has a problem with the fingerprint reader, and not a small one. Some reviewers have noticed that it can be unlocked with an unregistered fingerprint.

The problem was first brought to light by a YouTuber from the popular technology channel Beebom. During testing, the Pixel 6a unlocked using the thumbprints of its two colleagues, even though their fingerprints were not registered. His findings were immediately confirmed by a YouTuber from the channel Geekyranjit, who managed to unlock the phone with both thumbprints, even though only one was registered.

It is surprising that this problem appeared on a Google device, which is known for paying maximum attention to security. Anyway, it looks like it's something the US tech giant can fix with a software update. However, he has not yet commented on the matter.

The Pixel 6a will also be available on the Czech market from August 5. It will be sold exclusively Alza and (in the only variant with 6/128 GB) costs CZK 12.
