The telephoto lens is one of the biggest selling points of the models Galaxy With Ultra. Galaxy S22Ultra boasts a telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom. If you were hoping that its successor would bring major improvements in this direction, you will probably be disappointed.

According to a Dutch website GalaxyClub quoted by the SamMobile server will be Galaxy The S23 Ultra has exactly the same telephoto lens as its predecessor. Samsung obviously feels that if something works, there's no need to change it. Let us clarify at this point that Galaxy The S22 Ultra has two telephoto lenses, one periscope (which we're talking about) and one standard (with 3x optical zoom), both with a resolution of 10 MPx. It is possible that Samsung will improve the periscope telephoto lens in other ways, for example by fitting it with better optics, but the resolution and maximum zoom should remain the same.
