Commercial message: Alza.cz installed a self-service vending machine for unpackaged sales of cleaning products in the Holešovice showroom. Visitors can buy organic drugstore products in the containers they bring. The self-service machine offers AlzaEco products in pilot mode – washing gel, fabric softener, dishwashing detergent and soap.
The largest Czech e-shop Alza.cz launched a self-service machine for purchasing AlzaEco eco-drugs. In pilot mode, visitors to the Holešovice showroom can pour washing gel, fabric softener, dishwashing detergent or soap into the containers they bring. The e-shop thus responds to the ever-increasing demand for ecological solutions. Bottles with a capacity of 0,75 l intended for repeated use are available on site for those interested.
"AlzaEco drug store has been sold in ecological packaging since its launch. In order to further promote an ecological mindset for daily necessities, we have installed a self-service machine in our store. Customers can put the drugstore they need right now into their existing containers, for example into an empty washing gel container, which will thus get another use," comments Ondřej Hnát, sales director of Alza.cz, on the new product in the Holešovice showroom.
Customers can come to the organic drugstore without a prior order at the e-shop. On the touch screen, on which they can also read the composition of the individual products, they top up credit using a payment card. After the required amount of product has been shot, the actual amount of the expenditure is deducted from it, and this amount is subsequently withdrawn from the payment card. So customers don't have to worry about paying, for example, for a larger quantity than will fit in the container they brought.
AlzaEco products are dermatologically tested Czech products that are extremely friendly to nature and people. The e-shop introduced the private drugstore brand already in 2019 and is gradually expanding its offer. He added cleaning agents, dishwasher preparations and liquid soaps to washing powders or gels in several variants and fabric softeners. "In recent years, we have noticed a growing popularity of environmentally friendly products, but due to the high price, it may be more difficult for some customers to access. Our own drugstore brand offers gentle but at the same time effective products at the price of a regular chemical drugstore," concludes Hnát.
The machine delivered was custom-developed for Alza. It has a large interactive display on which customers can conveniently find a clear range of products, including composition and price. At the same time, the instructions guide them to make operating the device as simple and intuitive as possible.
