The vast majority of Samsung smartphones Galaxy it has some cutout or at least a hole in its display that houses the selfie camera. But did you know that you can change this design feature according to individual applications? Here's everything you need to know about it.

If you find that the selfie camera space in some apps bothers you, you can hide it behind the always-on notification bar, but that will be worse than better. The second option is to hide it behind black, but it is less intrusive, whether it is more convenient to watch videos or consume content in applications. Of course, this robs you of the size of the entire display, but if you don't mind, the distracting cut-out will no longer be displayed. Of course, we owe this function to the One UI superstructure.

How to hide the cutout in the display on Samsung

  • Open it Settings.
  • Select an offer Display.
  • Scroll down and tap on Full screen application.
  • Here, switch to the option at the bottom right Camera cutout.

Now you can choose the apps installed on your device that you want to hide the viewport. If you were wondering what the choice means Aspect Ratio, it is intended more for older applications or those that are not fully optimized for large displays and applications that provide video content with multiple different aspect ratios. Therefore, if an application is located here, you can determine its behavior, whether it should remain in the current view or expand over the entire display. With Netflix, for example, you can choose here how you want the videos to be displayed.
