As you probably know from our previous news, Samsung in the next one Galaxy Unpacked will also present a new smart watch Galaxy Watch5 to Galaxy Watch5 For. We already know a lot about them from previous leaks, and now a new one has appeared in the ether, which refers to the latter and reveals its specifications. And they are indeed "monstrous".
According to the website WinFuture.de will be a model Galaxy Watch5 Pro has an AMOLED display with a size of 1,36 inches and a resolution of 450 x 450 px. The glass protecting the display is supposed to be made of sapphire. The battery is said to boast a huge capacity of 590 mAh (earlier leaks spoke of 572 mAh), which should provide the watch with up to 80 hours of endurance.
Galaxy Watch5 Pro (even the base model) is powered by the Exynos W920 chipset, which is already used by the current generation Galaxy Watch. Depending on the configuration, it will have up to 16 GB of internal memory. The LTE variants will support the eSIM function.
The watch will otherwise measure 10,5 mm in the waist and weigh a not entirely insignificant 46,5 g. Unlike the standard model, it will apparently only be available in one size, namely 45 mm. According to new unofficial information, their price will start at 469 euros (roughly CZK 11), while the leak from June talked about 490 euros.
Hmmm…. that I would exchange my Active 2 44mm? 🤔
Do they have a blood sugar function?
I looked around watch 4 clasic, but the one-day endurance is a mockery. So maybe the new fives will be better.
Personally, I have 4 classic 46mm and with normal use it lasts a day and a half just fine. Charged in an hour and a half and you're good to go again.
It reminds me of articles about Galaxy watch 4 a year ago. Also, what kind of battery will they have and will it last 3 days, etc. Reality max 1.5 days. So I don't use them.
Is there a major advantage over the sapphire Garmin Fenix?
No, it's not, if you have a Garmin, I'd be fine 😀 this is far behind.
Yes. It's a real smart watch and not a sport tester
You can talk to them on the phone 😉
