The August security patch fixes over four dozen vulnerabilities found in the system Android and Samsung software. Samsung's patches address, among other things, MAC address leakage via Wi-Fi and NFC, a hijacking vulnerability in VPN Knox security platform and in DeX mode for PC, incorrect access control in DesktopSystemUI or manipulation of the list of apps that can use mobile data in Wi-Fi service.
As for the tablet Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, it started receiving the update with Androidem 12 and the One UI 4.1 superstructure. It carries the firmware version T225XXU1BVGB and was the first to be available in Germany and Hong Kong. It includes the July security patch.
