As you may have noticed, last week Motorola was supposed to launch its new flexible clam shell Moto Razr 2022 and the flagship Edge 30 Ultra (it will be called Moto X30 Pro in China), but at the last minute the event in China she canceled. Now she has revealed their new show date and "nutritious" details about them.

Moto Razr 2022 will have a noticeably larger display compared to previous models of the series, namely with a diagonal of 6,7 inches (it was 6,2 inches for its predecessors), which boasts 10-bit color depth, support for the HDR10+ standard and, in particular, a 144Hz refresh rate. Motorola boasted that it invented a gapless folding design that minimizes bending. When closed, the display will fold into a teardrop shape with an inner radius of 3,3 mm.

The external display will have a size of 2,7 inches (according to unofficial information it should have been 0,3 inches larger) and will allow users to use some applications, reply to messages and control widgets. Of course, it will also be possible to use it to take "selfies" from the main camera.

Motorola also revealed that the main camera of the phone will have a resolution of 50 MPx and optical image stabilization. The primary sensor is complemented by a "wide-angle" with a 121 ° angle of view, which has automatic focus, which also allows you to take macro pictures, at a distance of 2,8 cm. The selfie camera, which resides in the main display, has a resolution of 32 MPx.

The phone will be powered by Qualcomm's current flagship chip Snapdragon 8+ Gen1, which will make it a regular flagship. There will be three memory variants to choose from, namely 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB and 12/512 GB.

As for the Edge 30 Ultra (Moto X30 Pro), it will be the first smartphone to boast a 200MPx camera built on a Samsung sensor ISOCELL HP1. It will be complemented by a 50 MPx ultra-wide-angle lens with a 117 ° angle of view and autofocus for macro mode and a 12 MPx telephoto lens with a double optical zoom. Like the Razr, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, backed by 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128-512 GB of internal memory.

It will also boast a curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate, support for HDR10+ content, 10-bit color depth and a peak brightness of 1250 nits. The phone will be bundled with a 125W charger and will also support 50W wireless charging. Both novelties will be presented (if nothing goes wrong) on August 11.
