On Wednesday, Samsung will introduce its expected hardware innovations, namely flexible phones Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4, a range of watches Galaxy Watch5 and headphones Galaxy Buds2 Pro. In this article, we will summarize everything we know about Galaxy Watch5 to Watch5 Pro.

Both models Galaxy Watch5 should not be practically different from Samsung's current watch series in terms of design. Perhaps the biggest difference should be the absence of a rotating bezel on the Pro model. The standard model should otherwise be available in 40 and 44 mm sizes, while the Pro model is only available in 45 mm. As for the specifications, the standard model should get an AMOLED display with a size of 1,19 inches and a resolution of 396 x 396 pixels, and the Pro model a display of the same type with a diagonal of 1,36 inches and a resolution of 450 x 450 pixels. The display of the higher model should be protected by sapphire glass.

Both watches are powered by last year's Exynos W920 chipset, which in the case of the Pro model should be complemented by up to 16 GB of internal memory (the capacity of the operating memory is unknown at the moment). It's almost certain that both models will be offered in LTE and Bluetooth variants, with the LTE variant of the Pro model expected to support eSIM functionality.

The battery capacity is said to be 276 mAh (40mm version) and 391 mAh (44mm version) for the standard model, which would be a significant improvement compared to the predecessors (they specifically have batteries with a capacity of 247 and 361 mAh), and for the Pro model, the capacity should increase at a respectable 572 or 590 mAh (thanks to this, it allegedly lasts for 3 days on a single charge). The charging power should also be improved, from 5 to 10 W. In terms of software, the watch should be powered by a system Wear OS 3.5 and above One UI Watch 4.5.

Furthermore, it would Galaxy Watch5 should have a body composition sensor, an EKG sensor, and it is possible that they will boast a body temperature sensor temperature. Apparently, they will be dustproof and waterproof according to the IP68 standard. To be informace complete, we still have to state the alleged price. It should start at 300 euros (about 7 CZK) for the standard model and 400 euros (roughly 490 CZK) for the "pro" model. As new "benders", they should be more expensive year-on-year (see more here).
