Galaxy The Z Fold3 was Samsung's most expensive smartphone to date. Now it has received its 4th generation, which, although it does not reduce the price, but again advances the use of the device to an ideal blending of the world of smartphones and tablets. The changes are not too many, but they are all the more important. Galaxy The Z Fold4 not only has an optimized aspect ratio and wider display, but also better cameras.
As for the body of the device, it is 3,1 mm lower in height, and 2,7 mm wider when closed and 3 mm when open. The front side looks more like a classic smartphone, while the inside looks more like a tablet. Thanks to this, the weight has also been decently adjusted, from 271 to 263 g. But it is still a large and heavy device, something to be reckoned with.

As with the fourth Flip, the refresh rate of the internal display has changed, starting at 1 Hz, instead of the brightness of 900 nits, it jumped to a thousand. At the same time, Samsung has improved the selfie camera in the internal display, so that it is less visible at a normal glance. You can find it, but it doesn't catch your eye as much when you're working. However, it only offers a resolution of 4 MPx, the one on the front is 10 MPx. The internal display is 7,6 inches, the external 6,2".

Galaxy From Fold4, he got a complete photo lineup from the top line Galaxy S, so not the Ultra, but the basic S22 and S222+. Instead of three 12MPx sensors, the main one is 50MPx, on the other hand, the telephoto lens has dropped to 10MPx, but it still provides three times optical zoom. The ultra-wide-angle camera remained at 12MPx. However, this resulted in a slight protrusion of the module from the back of the device.

The performance should be the same as that in the Flip 4, because even here the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is produced by the 4nm process. The CPU should be 14% faster, the GPU 59% faster and the NPU 68% faster than the previous generation. Compared to the Flip 4, however, the RAM jumped to 12 Gb in all memory variants. Here too, of course, is IPX8, when the device lasts for 30 minutes at a depth of 1,5m, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ is used on the external display. The novelty works with existing S Pens, which are also supported by previous versions. Samsung has focused more on its usability as well as system tuning where One UI 4.1.1 will provide a better multitasking experience. There is also Flex Mode.
There will be three colors, i.e. Phantom Black, GrayGreen and Beige. The basic 12 + 256 GB model will cost you CZK 44, the higher 999GB model will cost you CZK 512 and the 47TB model, which will only be available on Samsung.cz, will cost you CZK 999.
