Titanium and sapphire
Firstly, there is titanium instead of steel. Titanium is more durable and lighter. Samsung wants its model Watch5 To present it as intended for demanding athletes, which is probably also why there is a clear main change - the rotating bezel is missing. You won't know officially why this is, but it is clear that it is due to use in demanding conditions where the bezel would cause possible accidental and unwanted interaction. Yes, it can be turned off by software, but removing it is a no-compromise (and cheaper) solution. Its functionality is thus taken over by the touch screen and the space intended for it.

In addition, it is newly covered with sapphire glass, which corresponds to level 9 on the Mohs scale of hardness. Version Galaxy Watch5 then corresponds to grade 8, because it is not a sapphire like a sapphire.

The strap is still uncomfortable
One more thing about the strap. I sold it because of poor durability Apple watch 7, and then Samsung Galaxy S4… Now I have a Garmin venu 2 plus I charge when it suits me.. and not every day..
