Pro Galaxy A fairly serious rival is emerging from Fold4. It is the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 smartphone, which will boast a not entirely insignificant lead in this segment. According to the promotional video pointed out by the legendary leaker Ice universe, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 will be the thinnest flexible phone ever. The short clip shows that it's only slightly thicker than the USB-C port, meaning it'll be just 5-something mm thick (for comparison: Samsung's thinnest Fold is the current Fold, which is 6,4mm thick ). In terms of design, it will apparently be very similar to the fourth Fold.

The phone should get a chipset in the wine Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 (like the next Fold), 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB or 1 TB of internal memory, and its external display should have a 120Hz refresh rate and a 21:9 aspect ratio. In addition to it, Xiaomi will present the 5-inch Pad 12,4 Pro tablet and Buds 4 Pro wireless headphones on Thursday. It's not clear at this point if all of this news will be available outside of China.
