Motorola has launched its new flexible clam shell Moto Razr 2022. Compared to its predecessors, the novelty offers flagship specifications and an improved design and could be a serious competitor for Samsung Galaxy Z-Flip4.
Moto Razr 2022 has a 6,7-inch flexible OLED display with FHD+ resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ content support, and a 2,7-inch external OLED display with a resolution of 573 x 800 pixels. The phone has an improved hinge over previous generations that bends into a pear shape to close completely when folded. In terms of design, it now resembles much more Galaxy From Flip3 or Flip4, because unlike its predecessors, it doesn't have the Razr-typical unsightly chin.
The device is powered by Qualcomm's current flagship chip Snapdragon 8+ Gen1, which is paired with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128-512 GB of internal memory. As a reminder: Razr 5G and Razr 2019 used mid-range Snapdragon 765G chips, respectively. Snapdragon 710. The price of the new Razr in China will start at 5 yuan (about 999 CZK) and will be offered in only one color, namely black. It is not clear at this time if it will make it to international markets.
