Motorola has launched its new flagship X30 Pro (to be called the Edge 30 Ultra in international markets). It is the first ever smartphone that boasts a 200MPx Samsung camera.

The Motorola X30 Pro specifically has a 200MPx sensor ISOCELL HP1, which was introduced last September. The sensor has a size of 1/1.22″, lens aperture f/1,95, optical image stabilization and phase autofocus. It can take 12,5MPx pictures in 16v1 pixel binning mode and record videos in resolutions up to 8K at 30 frames per second or 4K at 60 fps. The main camera is complemented by a 50MPx "wide-angle" with autofocus and a 12MPx telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. The front camera has a high resolution of 60 MPx and can shoot videos in up to 4K resolution at 30 fps.

Otherwise, the phone received a curved OLED display with a size of 6,7 inches, FHD+ resolution and 144Hz variable refresh rate, and it is powered by Qualcomm's current flagship chipset Snapdragon 8+ Gen1, seconded by 8 or 12 GB of operating system and 128-512 GB of internal memory. The equipment includes an under-display fingerprint reader, NFC and stereo speakers. The battery has a capacity of 4610mAh and supports 125W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

In China, its price will start at 3 yuan (roughly CZK 699), in Europe, according to previous leaks, it will cost 13 euros (approximately CZK 900). Samsung's next highest flagship model could also have a 22MPx camera Galaxy S23Ultra. However, according to "behind the scenes" reports, it will not be the ISOCELL HP1 sensor, but a yet-to-be-presented one ISOCELL HP2.
