Clock system Wear The OS, which Google and Samsung breathed new life into last year, will receive a number of new features this year. Specifically, it will be a redesigned Google Play store, better support Google Maps and two new music apps SoundCloud and Deezer.

During yesterday's event Galaxy Unpacked Samsung announced that its last year's line of watches Galaxy Watch4 led to a threefold increase in the number of active watches with Wear OS. A Google representative then spoke at the event to announce that the system will get a redesigned Google Play store later this year, offering a new collection of apps, showing trending apps and "personalized recommendations".

Even earlier, support for offline navigation will arrive in the system, more precisely in the Google Maps application. And by the end of the year, two popular music apps, SoundCloud and Deezer, will be added to it. For them, Google added that they will support offline music playback (this support in the Wear The OS has previously received Spotify). Let's add that the smart watch presented yesterday Galaxy Watch5 to Watch5 Pro running on Wear OS 3.5, which is the latest version of the system.
