Phone owners Galaxy can only look forward to, however, those who are already actively testing the beta Androidu 13 with the One UI 5.0 superstructure know what new features the sharp version will bring. There are a few big changes, and quite a few smaller ones. Here we will focus on those that might have escaped your notice, but which are based on the current version of the system for Google Pixel phones, so they may have Galaxy Samsung in a slightly different form.

Scan QR codes from Quick Settings

In a smartphone with the system Android you can scan QR codes in a variety of ways, from Google Lens to the built-in camera app. This works great, but you have to open the app and do a few taps before you start scanning the QR code. In a system Android 13, Google introduced the Scan QR Code panel to the Quick Settings menu.

Quickly edit text with improved copy and paste functionality

Copy and paste is a basic function of the system Android, which many of us use on a daily basis. This function remains mostly the same throughout the years, with only minor changes here and there. In a system Android 13, Google added a useful feature that will open a new menu in the lower left corner when you copy. Clicking on this popup will take you to a dedicated screen with the copied text, allowing you to edit it as needed. Press Done to save the changes.

Turn on dark mode before bed

Into the system Android 10 added a dark mode feature, which since then allows you to switch your favorite compatible apps to a darker theme. Later, Google introduced Sleep Time mode, which provides several options to relax before bed, such as silencing app notifications. However, turning on dark mode when launching the mode was something that was missing from the start. In a system Android 13, you can choose to turn on dark mode when Sleep Time is activated, saving you an extra step.

Controlling the vibration intensity of alarm clocks and media

Many of us are probably familiar with our phone's alarm clock setting that helps us wake up every morning. It has become part of our daily routine, but one thing is still a problem. You cannot set the vibration strength when the alarm is triggered. Depending on the haptic quality of individual devices, they can sometimes be too loud or strong by default for some users. System Android 13 allows detailed setting of the vibration strength of the alarm clocks, which will provide you with a noticeably gentler way of waking up if necessary.

Icon and text size settings

You don't always have to use them, but Android 13 has several useful display settings combined into one menu so you don't have to keep switching between them. Previously, the Font Size and Display Size functions were in separate sections, and other related settings were hidden elsewhere. WITH Androidem 13 you can adjust the font size or display on one page, like make it bold, increase the contrast, etc. You can find this screen in the new menu Settings -> Display -> Display size and text.
