The biggest shortcoming of the first three models of the series Galaxy The Z Fold was their obsolete telephoto lens. Specifically, these models featured a telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, which was similar to what Samsung introduced in the phone Galaxy Note 8, and it's already five years old. But what Galaxy ZFold4?

The answer will please any mobile photographer. The fourth generation of the Fold received a telephoto lens that supports 3x optical and up to 30x digital zoom. While the improvement in optical zoom over previous models doesn't look spectacular, the extra step is certainly nice as you get closer to your subject. Moreover, with digital zoom, the improvement is significant. The first, second and third Fold supported a maximum of 10x zoom.

Let us remind you that the new Fold also has an improved main camera - its resolution is now 50 MPx instead of 12 MPx and it is the same sensor used by this year's "esque" models Galaxy S22 a S22 +. On the other hand, the "wide-angle" remains the same, with a resolution of 12 MPx. The selfie camera has also not been upgraded – the standard one is still 10 megapixels and the one hidden under the flexible display has a resolution of 4 MPx (therefore, speculations that it will have four times the resolution of the latter have not been confirmed, but at least it is less visible).
