Curved gaming monitors have been growing in popularity in recent years. Samsung is also "riding" on this trend, and pre-orders for its latest Odyssey Ark gaming monitor opened a few days ago. In addition to its gigantic size, it also boasts built-in game cloud services.

The Samsung Odyssey Ark is a 55-inch monitor with Quantum Mini LED technology that boasts a 1000R curvature radius, 4K resolution, 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. In other words, it's a big, clear, super-curved personal "canvas" for gaming.

The monitor, like Samsung's smart TVs, runs on the Tizen system, which means it also has the Gaming Hub platform. The platform was launched by the Korean giant at the beginning of the summer with the idea of uniting all gaming resources under one roof. The monitor supports gaming cloud services such as Xbox Game Pass, Google Stadia, GeForce Now or Amazon Luna, as well as integration with the live streaming platform Twitch and YouTube. There is also support for popular streaming services such as Netflix or Disney+.

Earlier this week, Samsung opened pre-orders for the Odyssey Ark. And he is asking for it not quite popular 3 dollars (roughly 499 CZK). In Europe, where it will probably arrive at the end of the month, it should cost around 84 euros (approximately 600 CZK).
