Xiaomi recently introduced its new flagship called the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which boldly competes with its specifications Samsung Galaxy S22Ultra. While it initially seemed like the phone would be exclusive to the Chinese market, that might not be the case after all.

According to Xiaomi leaker Mukul Sharma, the 12S Ultra could hit international markets before too long. Just to remind you: the smartphone was launched in China at the beginning of July, and Xiaomi has not even hinted that it should target other markets. While this is certainly positive news for European and other fans of the brand, it must be taken with a grain of salt as the phone's global model number has yet to surface.

The Xiaomi 12S Ultra boasts a 6,73-inch AMOLED display with 2K (1440 x 3200 px) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 1500 nits peak brightness. The back side is covered with ecological leather. The phone is powered by Qualcomm's current flagship chip Snapdragon 8+ Gen1, seconded by 8 or 12 GB of operating system and 256 or 512 GB of internal memory.

The camera is triple with a resolution of 50, 48 and 48 MPx, with the second serving as a periscopic lens (with 5x optical zoom) and the third as a "wide-angle" (with a very wide angle of view of 128 °). The rear photo array is completed by a ToF 3D sensor, and all cameras boast optics from Leica. The front camera has a resolution of 32 MPx. The equipment includes an under-display fingerprint reader, an infrared port or stereo speakers. There is also increased resistance according to the IP68 standard.

The battery has a capacity of 4860 mAh and supports 67W fast wired charging, 50W fast wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. Software-wise, the device is built on Androidu 12 and the MIUI 13 superstructure. Pretty solid parameters, what do you say?
