Motorola became the first manufacturer to introduce the week before last smartphone with a 200MPx camera. Samsung can no longer claim that title, even though the Motorola X30 Pro (Edge 30 Ultra) uses its sensor ISOCELL HP1. The Korean giant is still not out of the "200MPx game". Next year, it will probably improve the resolution of its mobile cameras, and it seems that it will start with the smartphone Galaxy S23 Ultra.

A few weeks ago, we informed you that Samsung is apparently planning to install Galaxy S23 Ultra 200MPx camera. Now, Samsung's mobile division has confirmed these plans to its partners. The website informed about it ETNews.

According to the website, the next Ultra will be the only model in the range Galaxy S23, which will be equipped with a 200MPx camera. However, it does not mention a specific sensor. Samsung has already introduced two 200MPx sensors – the mentioned ISOCELL HP1 and then ISOCELL HP3, which he launched at the beginning of the summer. However, it is speculated that the S23 Ultra will not use either of these and will instead come with a new, as-yet-unannounced sensor called ISOCELL HP2.

According to the latest anecdotal reports, the next Ultra will also get the newest one sensor Qualcomm fingerprint with a larger scanning area. Just like the other models in the series Galaxy The S23 will apparently be powered by the same company's next flagship chip Snapdragon 8 Gen2. In any case, there is still a long way to go before the introduction of the series, we should expect it in January next year at the earliest.
