We've been waiting two years for a streaming platform from Disney. But this year she finally arrived in the Czech Republic and we can already enjoy her Star Wars and Marvel comics in one place. In addition, on September 8, a lot of new content will come to the platform. They will arrive Thor: Love Like Thunder including a film about a film, further Obi-Wan Kenobi: Return of the Jedi, Pinocchio with Tom Hanks or Cars on the road.
Disney+ news coming to the network on September 8:
Pinocchio
The beloved story of a wooden puppet who embarks on a thrilling adventure to become a real boy returns as a live-action feature film directed by Oscaraward-winning director Robert Zemeckis. Tom Hanks (Petr Štěpánek) plays Geppetto, the carver who created Pinocchio (Benjamim Evan Ainsworth, in the Czech version by Kristián Páca) and treats him as if he were his own son. You will also hear in the Czech version Petr Neskusil as Jiminy Cricket (in the original version by Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Pinocchio's guide and at the same time his "conscience" and Vendula Příhodová as the Blue Fairy (Cynthia Erivová nominated for Oscara), who also sang the opening song for the film. The film will also feature a new coachman character, played by Luke Evans (Lukáš Janota), who did not appear in the original film.
MIKE
Eight-part limited series MIKE is the work of creator and screenwriter Steven Rogers and the team behind the film I, Tonya, and Karin Gistová. It deals with the dynamic and controversial story of Mike Tyson, deals with the tumultuous ups and downs of his boxing career and personal life, and follows how the beloved world athlete became an outcast and a darling again. The series also explores class and race in America, fame and media power, misogyny, social inequality, the promise of the American Dream, and ultimately our own role in shaping Mike's story.
Thor: Love Like Thunder
Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is on his most difficult life journey – to find inner peace. However, his journey to rest is interrupted by the galactic killer Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the demise of the gods. Thor asks Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korga (Taika Waititi) and his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who—to Thor's surprise—wields the mighty hammer Mjolnir just like the mighty Thor. Together they embark on a space adventure to uncover the secret of Gorr and stop him before it's too late.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Return of the Jedi
In this special, we learn more about the return of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, as well as the return of Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen to their iconic roles. We'll see director Deborah Chow at work, guiding the cast and crew to create new heroes and villains that come to life alongside beloved characters from the Star Wars saga.
Cars on the road
Pixar Animation Studios returns to the world of Cars with a brand new original series Cars on the road. Individual episodes tell the stories of racer Lightning McQueen and his best friend Burák, who head east from Kardanová Lhota on a trip across the United States to meet Burák's sister. Every stop is an adventure for them. Unusual attractions and fun new characters await us.
