Galaxy S22Ultra isn't the only Samsung smartphone this year to support the S Pen. His new flexible phone Galaxy From Fold4 it also works with it, though not the standard type. Here's everything you need to know.

Like last year's Fold, this year's also supports the S Pen, or more precisely, customers can use the S Pen in conjunction with its flexible screen, but not with an external display. Since the standard S Pen could damage the flexible display, Samsung had to develop a special type with a softer tip. As a result, the Fold4 is only compatible with two styluses: the S Pen Fold Edition and the S Pen Pro.

Users of the new Fold shouldn't even try to use the standard S Pen on it. Not only will it not work with it, but again there is a risk of damaging the flexible screen due to its rigidity. Only the mentioned types S Pen Fold Edition and S Pen Pro, which are sold separately, actually work with it (the latter is also offered in a package with a Standing Cover with S Pen).

The S Pen Fold Edition only works with the third and fourth Fold and no other Samsung device. It uses a different frequency than the regular S Pen. If you want to use one S Pen for multiple devices Galaxy, such as the Fold4 and tablet, the S Pen Pro can be used. This stylus has a softer tip and, unlike the S Pen Fold Edition, features a manual switch that switches the frequency to match the type of device it's being used with.
