Apple increases the supply of displays for the upcoming series iPhone 14, which is to be presented on September 7. The display division of Samsung Display secured over 80% of panel deliveries for the new iPhones over the past three months. Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) said in a new blog post.

When will it come out? iPhone 14 so we already know, and the company aims to secure a total of 34 million displays from its suppliers for the new models of its phone. These suppliers are Samsung Display, LG Display and BOE. In June, the Cupertino smartphone giant bought 1,8 million panels for the next generation, 5,35 million the following month, and over 10 million in August. It is expected that another 16,5 million pieces si Apple will order from its suppliers in September.

Samsung Display accounted for 82 percent of the deliveries made so far. Second was LG Display with 12 percent, and the remaining 6% of panels were secured by Chinese display giant BOE. In the spring, there was speculation on the air that Apple with BOE due to allegedly arbitrarily changing the design of its displays, it will end cooperation, but this apparently did not happen. Its panels will apparently use the cheaper models of the iPhone 14. For completeness, the series should include four models – iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Max a iPhone 14Pro Max.
