Advice Galaxy The S22 is behind us, although we currently live with foldable phones Galaxy z Flip4 and Z Fold4, but we are already preparing for what to expect from Galaxy S23. This is also because there are already various leaks of what this generation will bring, although the fact is that we certainly only know the label. Here, however, we will not focus on leaks, but on what we, the users, would like from the whole range.

Phones Galaxy The S22s were introduced half a year ago, and half a year separates us from their successors. We expect that line Galaxy S23 will be launched at the turn of January and February 2023. It will not be easy. Not only is it now in front of us performance iPhone 14, but this year's lineup of flagship phones has been very successful in pre-sales and sales itself, so Samsung must be looking to build on that. And that's also because the popularity of his jigsaws is also growing, which can cannibalize the high-end models of his own stable.

Qualcomm chipset

Yes, there are rumors that Samsung might not include its Exynos in the next generation of the flagship series. But here it is not a question of whether he will do so or not, but that this is our wish. The Exynos 2200 was developed for several years, AMD collaborated on it, it was supposed to bring ray-tracing and it was supposed to be a beastly chipset. But he disappointed in the final, and not a little. It doesn't bother an ordinary user, but does an ordinary user buy a device for 20 and 30 thousand CZK? It turns out that even AMD couldn't save Exynos from itself. Qualcomm works better, doesn't heat up as much and ultimately has better battery life and better quality photos. So why should Europeans be beaten by Samsung supplying us with its underpowered chipset?

Better zoom

Since his debut as a model Galaxy The S20 Ultra's Space Zoom keeps getting better and better thanks to a combination of improved hardware and software, but it still doesn't work miracles. While Galaxy The S23 Ultra is said to come with a 200MP primary sensor, but we'd rather see an upgrade to its periscope telephoto lens. 10MPx is cool, but we already know that it is possible to make different intermediate stages so that one lens provides different optical zoom (Xperia 1 IV can do it). At least the Ultra could thus get rid of the unnecessary triple lens, when its periscope would fulfill its function as well. It would be another slap in the face to Apple (think of it as a competitive advantage), which still ignores Periscope.

The less painful look of Ultra

Galaxy The S22 Ultra is perhaps the best flagship Samsung has ever produced, thanks to all the features in the range Galaxy Notes. Unfortunately, he also took over its design, which is not completely adapted to the masses. Phone covers are not very practical, they hold poorly, the rounded display often distorts the content and responds to unwanted touches (and does not respond to the S Pen). If it is supposed to be the design signature of the model, then OK, but let Samsung also round its bottom edge, which cuts unpleasantly into the hand after prolonged use. They have rounded corners Galaxy S22, S22+ and even giant Galaxy From Fold4, while all these models are much more comfortable to hold. Sure, where to go with the pen. So how about up?

Bigger battery (not only) for the smallest model

Small phones are not very popular these days, and although the smallest model Galaxy The S22 offers a lot of valuable features in a relatively small body, the battery life could be much better. Sure, keeping the phone small means that the manufacturer has to sacrifice some battery capacity for the technologies present, but would it be a problem to make a small phone a little thicker?

For a long time, phone manufacturers have been obsessed with making phones as thin as possible. While this looks great when you first take the phone out of its packaging, the truth is that most people stick it in their case anyway, totally degrading that slim look. In recent years, we have seen a trend of protruding camera lenses above the body of the device. It wobbles uncomfortably on a flat surface because of this, and also catches a lot of dirt. So what if the manufacturer added a little to the thickness of the device and increased its battery?

Better authorization

Samsung's in-display fingerprint readers are among the best, but you can't avoid their strange behavior and sometimes inconvenient placement. After all, who says there has to be a space for a finger scan where Samsung places it? If we have such large displays, they don't have to be at the bottom edge to dislocate our thumbs. In addition, if you have skin problems or simply "non-standard" prints, this technology is useless.

We quite fondly remember Galaxy A7 from 2017, which had a fingerprint reader on the side in the power button. It wouldn't be out of place if Samsung gave the person a choice and equipped their phones with both solutions. And best of all, if it would of course also add true biometric verification of the user with a face scan. Not just the replacement it uses now, which is not full-fledged security that can be used across all functions and applications.
