Samsung has quietly launched a new rugged tablet Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro, which was originally supposed to be introduced back in July. Although it was speculated that it would not feature a replaceable battery, it finally does.

Galaxy Tab Active4 is equipped with a 10,1-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The display is protected from scratches and breakage by Gorilla Glass 5 and responds even to touch with gloves. The thickness of the device is 10,2 mm and the weight is 674 g.

The tablet is supplied with "juice" by a battery with a capacity of 7600 mAh, which is not much compared to other tablets Galaxy however, it has the advantage of being user replaceable. The rear camera has a resolution of 13 MPx, the front camera has a resolution of 8 MPx. The device also has support for 5G networks, a fingerprint reader, an NFC chip, support for the Dolby Atmos audio standard and the DeX function. Then there are some special features, such as the mobile security Knox Platform for POS (Point of Sale), which finds application especially in retail, Knox Capture, which turns a tablet into a professional barcode reader, and the security platform Knox Suite, which enables IT teams of tablets easy to configure, secure, manage and analyze, and at the same time serves as protection (at the software and hardware level) against all the threats brought by the current digital environment.

In terms of durability, the tablet meets IP68 and MIL-STD-810H standards. So it doesn't mind water, dust, humidity, considerable altitude, extreme temperatures or vibrations. It will come with an Anti-Shock Protective Cover that has a pocket for the S Pen. The tablet case protects against falling from a height of up to 1,2 m (the tablet itself can survive a fall from a height of up to one meter). The device software runs on Androidu 12 and Samsung promises to get three upgrades in the future Androidua will supply them with security updates for five years. Galaxy The Tab Active4 Pro will go on sale here from mid-September through B2B business channels. It will later be available in Asia, North and South America and the Middle East.
