Just moments after Samsung unveiled a new low-end smartphone Galaxy A04, introduced another. A novelty with almost the same name Galaxy A04s is not only very similar in terms of hardware to its one week older sibling, but it is improved in key areas.

Galaxy A04s has the same as Galaxy A04 with a 6,5-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 px, but compared to it, its screen has an increased refresh rate of 90 Hz. The phone is powered by (at least according to anecdotal information, Samsung is not specific about this) an Exynos 850 chipset, which is significantly faster than the Unisoc SC9863A used by its sibling. The chipset is supported by 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 32-128 GB of internal memory.

The camera is triple with a resolution of 50, 2 and 2 MPx, with the second performing the role of a macro camera and the third serving as a depth of field sensor. Let us recall that Galaxy The A04 has a dual camera with a resolution of 50 and 2 MPx, the second being a depth sensor. The equipment includes a fingerprint reader located on the side (the siblings are missing), an NFC chip (the Galaxy A04 also lacks) and 3,5mm jack. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and, like its sibling, it does not support fast charging. However, at least it charges via the USB-C port, not the slightly outdated microUSB connector. The operating system is again Android 12 with One UI Core 4.1 superstructure.

The phone will be available during September in various European countries, including the UK, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. It is possible that it will also reach Central Europe later. In Britain, its price will start at 160 pounds (roughly CZK 4).
